Oktana is a growing company focused on preparing organizations for AI through various technologies. They are seeking a Sales Account Executive with a strong emphasis on Snowflake services to identify and close new business opportunities, particularly in data platform modernization and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and close new logo opportunities focused on Snowflake-related services
- Build and manage a strong pipeline aligned to quota targets
- Clearly articulate our Snowflake capabilities, including implementation, optimization, data engineering and AI-readiness services
- Manage the full deal cycle: discovery, proposal, SOW/MSA coordination, negotiation and close
- Collaborate closely with delivery, pre-sales and technical teams to design compelling solutions
- Partner with Account Managers to lay the foundation for long-term account growth and expansion
- Build strategic relationships within Snowflake’s partner ecosystem and align with their sales teams when applicable
- Accurately track pipeline, forecasts and activity in CRM
- Provide pipeline visibility and escalate risks appropriately
- Follow up post-close to ensure smooth transition to delivery and long-term success
- Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, collateral and customer success stories
Requirements:
- Proven experience selling professional services related to Snowflake, data platforms, analytics or cloud data solutions
- Strong understanding of Snowflake use cases such as data warehousing, data lake modernization, ELT/ETL, analytics and AI enablement
- Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations
- Ability to engage and sell to decision-makers, including C-level executives
- Penchant for detail and excellent written communication skills
- Passion to ensure a positive experience for our customers and team
- No fear of technology or working in a dynamic atmosphere
- Experience working with offshore or nearshore delivery teams
