Principal Product Manager - AI & Innovation

BlackCloak is a fast-growing company dedicated to protecting corporate executives and high-profile individuals. They are seeking a Principal Product Manager - AI & Innovation to design, build, and prototype new product capabilities, transforming concepts into functional prototypes and ensuring integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new opportunities to deliver value to BlackCloak members, with a focus on emerging technologies and competitive differentiators
• Lead the end-to-end rapid prototyping process, from initial concept to functional prototype, ensuring initiatives meet defined success criteria
• Partner with CSOC leadership, Engineering and the Director of Product Innovation to vet new ideas, assess technical feasibility, and define architectural approaches that align with our long-term product vision
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, third-party services, and frameworks based on their potential to solve member problems and create strategic advantages for BlackCloak
• Take full ownership of new product concepts, from initial research and hypothesis testing to building the business case and gathering feedback from internal stakeholders before committing to full-scale development
• Work closely with our platform, mobile, and security engineering teams to ensure the seamless integration of successful prototypes into our existing ecosystem

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical product management experience with a proven track record of shipping complex products across mobile, desktop, and cloud environments
• A background in software engineering is a significant advantage
• A strong product sense and the ability to act as a strategic partner to both leadership and engineering
• Deep technical literacy and architectural understanding across our technology stack, including cloud services (GCP preferred), mobile & desktop development, and networking principles
• Proven ability to lead technical validation and prototyping processes in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight in a high-growth environment
• Demonstrable experience in productizing AI technologies
• Ability to identify high-impact use cases for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, define clear product requirements, and navigate the technical and ethical trade-offs required to ship intelligent features that solve real-world member problems
