CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager I to join their Asset Management Team. This role involves leading complex projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring other project managers to drive excellence in project delivery and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of asset management project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measures
- Serve as a “seller/doer,” developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areas
- Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team
- Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
- Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards
- Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or related field required
- Minimum of 11 years of industry experience required
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
- Proven ability to prepare proposals, schedules, budgets, and closeout documentation
- Strong background in client relationship management and responsive communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience with project accounting processes and financial oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven collaboration experience
- Proven success as a leader—strategic, technically astute, and client-focused
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and build relationships across the company
- Ability to travel as needed
- Consulting industry experience
- Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision
- PMP certification, Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent professional license
