About this role
CrowdPlat is seeking a Senior Lead Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise initiative focused on business process analysis and modernization of a critical program management system. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding a team of analysts while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business analysis and requirements documentation plan
- Analyze current system functionality and translate business processes into clear, actionable system requirements
- Conduct gap analysis between existing documentation, system capabilities, and regulatory/program requirements
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with business and technical stakeholders
- Prepare detailed deliverables including:
- Business requirements
- Functional specifications
- Process flows and system documentation
- Risk and impact analysis
- Cost/benefit and ROI considerations
- Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to business analysis team members
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed
- Obtain stakeholder review and formal sign-off on requirements and priorities
- Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals
- Provide regular status reporting and proactively identify project risks or roadblocks
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise IT environments
- Strong expertise in: Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Functional and business process analysis
- Gap analysis and system evaluation
- Experience working within structured project management frameworks
- Knowledge of large-scale IT operations and system modernization initiatives
- Proven ability to create clear, complete, and traceable requirements documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to: Negotiate priorities
- Resolve conflicts
- Work across multiple organizational levels
- Experience translating complex business and regulatory requirements into system functionality
- Experience in government, healthcare, or regulated environments
- 5+ years of project leadership or team lead experience
- Experience interpreting policy or regulatory requirements and translating them into system needs
- Familiarity with large enterprise Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Experience supporting procurement, solicitations, or contract-related requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent
