PDQ is a fast-growing SaaS company based in Salt Lake City, UT, that simplifies device management for IT teams. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a full-stack product team to deliver high-impact features and foster a strong engineering culture while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and QA teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own execution of your team’s roadmap with predictable, high-quality delivery
- Partner with Product on planning, prioritization, and scope alignment
- Remove blockers and create clarity in ambiguous situations
- Ensure technical decisions balance speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Maintain a high bar for quality, reliability, and customer impact
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
- Hire, onboard, and retain exceptional engineers
- Provide clear feedback, coaching, and career development support
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Empower senior engineers to grow their technical leadership
Requirements:
- 5+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in engineering management
