GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aerospace industry, and they are seeking a Senior Sourcing Initiatives Leader - Strategy Project Manager. This role involves leading strategic projects within the Shared Hardware Solutions commodity, utilizing strong data management and project management skills to drive actions that execute the commodity strategy while fostering effective communication and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SHS strategy projects and drive action plans across the commodity to deliver results
- Translate business requirements into strategic initiatives
- Utilize in-depth sourcing expertise and analytical thinking to execute the commodity strategy
- Lead operating rhythms and track progress from execution plans. Synthesize results and provide decision-ready materials to leaders
- Aggregate significant volumes of data and create data visualizations for multi-year sourcing strategies across all SHS sub-commodities
- Build a SHS part family database
- Facilitate large scale data transformation projects for the commodity and coordinate between engineering, digital services, etc
- Create project charters, timelines, and governance; drive actions and remove roadblocks to hit milestones
- Leverage data initiatives to assist sub-commodity teams with supplier selection, consolidation, or localization activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years' experience in sourcing and/or supply chain management
- Strong data management skills
- Strong organizational and project management aptitude

- Strong relationship management and influential skills
