GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aerospace sector, seeking a Sr Sourcing Initiatives Leader - Strategy Project Manager. This role focuses on driving strategy projects within the Shared Hardware Solutions commodity, requiring strong data management and project management skills to effectively execute and influence commodity strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SHS strategy projects and drive action plans across the commodity to deliver results
- Translate business requirements into strategic initiatives
- Utilize in-depth sourcing expertise and analytical thinking to execute the commodity strategy
- Lead operating rhythms and track progress from execution plans. Synthesize results and provide decision-ready materials to leaders
- Aggregate significant volumes of data and create data visualizations for multi-year sourcing strategies across all SHS sub-commodities
- Build a SHS part family database
- Facilitate large scale data transformation projects for the commodity and coordinate between engineering, digital services, etc
- Create project charters, timelines, and governance; drive actions and remove roadblocks to hit milestones
- Leverage data initiatives to assist sub-commodity teams with supplier selection, consolidation, or localization activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years' experience in sourcing and/or supply chain management
