Mixpanel is an event analytics platform for builders who need answers from their data at their fingertips. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for launching new features, shaping messaging, and ensuring products resonate with customers, while collaborating closely with product, sales, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market Execution: Support the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements
- Messaging and Positioning: Develop clear, customer-centric messaging and positioning that highlights the value and differentiation of Mixpanel’s platform
- Market, Competitor, and Customer Research: Conduct research to uncover customer pain points, market trends, and competitive intel. Use insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials
- Content Creation and Sales Enablement: Create high-quality collateral such as product briefs, use cases, and training materials to empower sales teams. Develop resources like battlecards, FAQs, and pitch decks to support feature adoption and sales efforts
- Campaign Contribution: Partner with demand generation, content, and field marketing teams to contribute to integrated campaigns that drive feature awareness and adoption
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of feature launches, adjusting strategies and messaging as needed to optimize impact
- Customer-Focused Mindset: Advocate for the customer by bringing their voice into messaging and product-related initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS or analytics platforms
- Experience with go-to-market planning, messaging, and launching features
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities, with a focus on crafting compelling narratives
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze customer and market insights
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment
- Creative problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering results
- Knowledge of product analytics or similar tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) is a plus
