QuinStreet is a pioneer in powering decentralized online marketplaces that match searchers with brands. They are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to identify, engage, and close new partnerships within the Commercial and Small Business Insurance categories.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contract terms with new media publishers and communicate to stakeholders
- Contact potential media partners through email and cold calling
- Effectively present our products and opportunities via phone, video chat, and pitch deck
- Collaborate with design and product teams to craft effective B2B acquisition strategies for publishers and small business owners
- Prospect for new business through a combination of efforts such as SMB and B2B conferences, industry research, and social media
- Report on progress and key metrics, identifying areas of opportunity and formulating strategies to achieve targets
- Achieve a high level of product knowledge to facilitate effective communication with partners
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience in sales and/or account management
- Understanding of and experience with the Commercial Insurance industry
- Experience calling and prospecting, preferably in the digital performance marketing space
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed established sales goals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Must be organized and able to adapt to a changing work environment
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year accredited institution, or related
- Understanding and experience within the publisher industry
- Experience in a fast paced, startup environment
- Experience with Salesforce
