Qima is a leading provider of supply chain compliance solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in the Cosmetics market in North America. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive, develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and divisional objectives in the Cosmetics market in North America
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Define sales practices, objectives by sector, customer, and lead sales KPIs (visits, closing ratio, accepted quote, average basket, ..) , processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
- Hunt 20 new clients in our core business /year (for Active ingredients and finished products)
- Collaborate teams to optimize product/service offerings based on market feedback
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Work closely with the divisional management team to align sales strategies, best practices and cross-selling with overall business objectives
- Optimize the use of Zoho CRM
- Explore and adopt AI tools to improve our activities
- Maintain a personal relationship with the top 5 clients key decision makers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, business, finance, engineering or related field from an accredited university, advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience as a successful sales leader in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and lead high-performance sales teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global matrixed environment with competing priorities
