Qima is a leading provider of supply chain compliance solutions, serving various industries including cosmetics. They are seeking a Business Development Manager for North America to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and client relationships in the Cosmetics market.
Responsibilities:
- Drive, develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and divisional objectives in the Cosmetics market in North America
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Define sales practices, objectives by sector, customer, and lead sales KPIs (visits, closing ratio, accepted quote, average basket, ..), processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
- Hunt 20 new clients in our core business /year (for Active ingredients and finished products)
- Collaborate teams to optimize product/service offerings based on market feedback
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Work closely with the divisional management team to align sales strategies, best practices and cross-selling with overall business objectives
- Optimize the use of Zoho CRM
- Explore and adopt AI tools to improve our activities
- Maintain a personal relationship with the top 5 clients key decision makers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, business, finance, engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Proven experience as a successful sales leader in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and lead high-performance sales teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global matrixed environment with competing priorities
- Advanced degree preferred
