They are seeking a Business Development Manager to grow their Power Electronics Test and Measurement business across North America, focusing on strategy execution and relationship building with various stakeholders in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a North America go-to-market strategy addressing Rohde & Schwarz Power Electronics T&M solutions (R&D, characterization, reliability, pre compliance and production)
- Identify, prioritize and pursue target accounts and segments (power semiconductor manufacturers, module/packaging houses, EV charging/system OEMs, inverter/storage/traction OEMs, industrial drives, datacenters, independent test labs)
- Educate sales and customers on Rohde & Schwarz test solutions addressing switching loss and efficiency measurement, double pulse testing, gate driver validation, parasitic extraction, high resolution oscilloscope measurements, wideband power sensing, grid/battery simulation, and EMI/EMC pre compliance
- Generate market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and prioritize features for power electronics workflows
- Produce and present technical content (webinars, application notes, case studies, flyers, posters) that demonstrate best practices and ROI — e.g., high resolution oscilloscope diagnostics, automated loss measurement, EMI debug workflows
- Represent R&S at industry events, standards working groups and customer forums
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Physics or related technical field
- 7+ years of B2B sales/business development or field/applications engineering experience selling test & measurement equipment or technical capital solutions to power electronics, semiconductor, automotive/EV, industrial or lab customers
