ThreatSpike is a fast-growing cybersecurity company dedicated to making enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible for businesses. They are seeking their first US-based Sales Development Representative to lead outbound prospecting into the American SME market, focusing on identifying and qualifying decision-makers across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Drive outbound prospecting into US SMEs via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
- Identify and engage decision-makers (IT Managers, Operations Leaders, C-suite)
- Rigorously qualify opportunities based on pain, urgency, and fit - only booking true SQLs
- Execute multi-channel, highly personalised outreach campaigns
- Target verticals including hospitality, legal, logistics, and transport
- Leverage intent data (Snitcher) and website visitor insights to prioritise accounts
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline management in HubSpot
- Collaborate with the UK team to refine messaging and targeting
- Represent ThreatSpike at US (and potentially international) industry events
- Continuously optimise outbound playbooks for the US market
Requirements:
- Proven track record in outbound SDR roles (B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, IT, or technology preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to generate highly qualified meetings - not just booked meetings
- Strong discovery skills - ability to uncover pain and drive meaningful conversations
- Comfortable selling into SMEs and engaging both technical and non-technical buyers
- Experience running multi-channel outbound campaigns
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable operating independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience selling cybersecurity, managed security services, or IT solutions
- Familiarity with US SME markets in hospitality, legal, logistics, or transport
- Experience with ZoomInfo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Ringover, or similar tools
- Experience prospecting at or attending industry events
