They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee project management and ICT engineering for their Global Fiber Team, ensuring projects are executed according to design, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are executed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors
- Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project
- Lead and provide oversight of ICT Design for ISP and OSP infrastructure
- OSP design and management, including: planning, cost estimating, detailed and/or routine design, permitting, contractor identification and outreach, engineering reviews, construction management
- Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered
- Flexibility with regards to working schedule surges, travel, and supporting multiple projects/designers
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a Technology or related field from an accredited college/university + 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 8+ years of design experience with ICT infrastructure
- Experience in Project Management
- Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) – BICSI
- Outside Plant Specialist (OSP) – BICSI
- ICT and Network hardware and systems proficiency
- Professional experience and/or proficiency in various software products, including but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), ArcGIS, ArcGIS Survey123, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and other ICT Specific Programs
- Demonstrated experience in managing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) in accordance with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 38-22 Standard Guideline for Investigating and Documenting Existing Utilities - or international equivalent
- Develop accurate plan and profile drawings and utility conflict matrices
- Identify constructability risks and provide field-based recommendations to reduce design liability
- Understanding of permitting and regulatory processes for telecom projects
- Previous work with international telecom projects and multi-stakeholder engagements
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
