This role involves leading a team of Retail Store Managers, conducting market visits, and ensuring operational excellence while collaborating across multiple channels to strengthen the T-Mobile brand presence.
Responsibilities:
- Set a strong pace to lead and support a team of Retail Store Managers to increase customer penetration and market growth; provide strategic leadership across rural markets to drive growth, enhance profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while prioritizing company-wide goals over individual market results
- Act like an owner of the business and collaborate cross-functionally with Field Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to evaluate coverage, resource investments, and expansion opportunities; align across multiple channels to increase market share and strengthen brand presence in rural markets
- Support the team in development, training, mentoring, and tactical execution; drive leadership behaviors that earn customer trust and support store success; mentor and promote high-performing Retail Store Managers while building a culture of success and continuous improvement aligned with T-Mobile values
- Ensure retail stores are staffed and trained to approved levels to meet customer traffic demands and increase conversion rates; lead recruiting, selection, hiring, training, and leadership development for ongoing market growth
- Travel frequently to conduct market surveys and operational audits within supported SMRA stores; simplify operations by reducing complexity and removing barriers, enabling teams to focus on customers and revenue-driving outcomes; ensure operational excellence through regular audits and compliance checks
Requirements:
- 2-4 years leading and managing multi-unit retail operations, preferably in rural or small market areas
- 2-4 years hiring, recruiting, onboarding, training, and driving performance in an environment grounded in trust and mutual respect
- 2-4 years collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and operational excellence
- Leadership ability to lead and inspire a team of Retail Store Managers, fostering a culture of success and growth in rural markets
- Change Management skills in implementing and managing change across multiple retail locations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Sales Management expertise in driving sales performance and market penetration in rural territories through strategic planning and team leadership
- Strategic Thinking ability to develop and execute growth strategies that enhance market share and brand presence in rural areas
- Business Acumen with strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business decision-making to drive company objectives
- Customer Focus commitment to understanding and fulfilling the needs of customers in Small Market Rural Areas to enhance satisfaction and loyalty

- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or 4–7 years of equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years maintaining deep knowledge of wireless retail sales and operations
