SecurityScorecard is the global leader in cybersecurity ratings, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to join their motivated Global Business Development team. The role focuses on generating qualified prospects for the Sales team by engaging with potential customers and driving strategic prospecting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Research target Accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect’s needs and educate the prospects on the benefits of the SecurityScorecard’s platform to Book Meetings for aligned Field Sales Reps (FSRs)
- Qualify & Respond to Inbound Leads with high sense of urgency
- Execute advanced outbound prospecting techniques, leveraging your expertise to identify and qualify potential customers through multiple channels, including cold calling, emails, social selling, and networking
- Evangelize the Company & Value Prop
- Keep Salesforce Database Clean
- Work with Marketing and Channel teams on ad hoc projects
- Master your tools: Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadiQ
- Research prospective organizations that can benefit from Security Scorecards cloud based software solutions
- Identify decision-makers in those organizations
- Occasional event support to engage prospects face-to-face
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience outbound cold calling, targeting multiple levels of contacts including executive management
- Excellent lead follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads from marketing generated campaigns and incoming phone and web inquiries
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving your objectives and goals

- Excellent working knowledge of inbound and outbound prospecting methodologies, experience working with multiple modern day MarTech solutions and practices in SaaS & On-prem based products and/or services (examples: Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadiQ & ZoomInfo)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment using an analytical mindset, adept at utilizing data to make strategic decisions
- Extremely self-motivated and independent with a diligent work ethic
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
