The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CMS ONC Interoperability project, managing ELT jobs, and engaging with customers to provide solutions.
Responsibilities:
- ELT Job Support: Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- SmileCDR Tool Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the SmileCDR tool, ensuring it meets project requirements
- FHIR HL7 Standards: Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes
- Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability
- Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards
- Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards
- Experience with SmileCDR or similar tools is a plus
