Puzzle is fundamentally reimagining how modern businesses understand and run their finances through innovative accounting software. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager focused on AI to define the product strategy and lead the development of AI capabilities, ensuring they add real value to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Define Puzzle’s AI product strategy and roadmap- from prompt-based experiences to more agentic, end-to-end workflows
- Be a thoughtful voice on where AI adds real value (vs. automation or deterministic systems)
- Act as an internal AI champion, helping the company level up how it thinks about and uses AI
- Partner with Engineering and Design to ship AI capabilities that meaningfully reduce manual work and unlock new customer value
- Go beyond “time savings” to outcomes that help customers grow revenue and rethink how work gets done
- Synthesize input from customers, data, engineering, and leadership to make confident product decisions
- Navigate ambiguity as technology and customer needs evolve
- Work cross-functionally with GTM teams to position, launch, and iterate on AI features
- Lead through strong product thinking, technical fluency, and clear communication
- Mentor other PMs and help shape Puzzle’s product practices around AI
Requirements:
- 7+ years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS (fintech a strong plus)
- Comfortable owning complex, technical product areas or building net-new products from scratch
- Experienced partnering closely with engineering; technical or engineering background is a bonus
- Commercially minded. Focused on delivering real, measurable impact for customers and the business- not just building features that look cool on paper
- Solid understanding of what AI is (and isn't), including how it differs from traditional ML and automation
- Regular user of AI tools, with hands-on experience experimenting, prototyping, and using AI in your business and personal life
- Loves exploring new ideas, tools, and approaches beyond what's required
- Known for making thoughtful decisions and standing behind them, even with incomplete information
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building products for accounting or finance teams
- Exposure to revenue-driving product initiatives
- Familiarity with agentic workflows, copilots, or AI-first UX patterns
