APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER, (fully remote, USA Boston Area)

Securecell AG is a trusted partner for biopharma, focused on innovative solutions in bioprocess control. They are seeking an Application Support Engineer for their Lucullus® system, responsible for software installation, configuration, and support.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and basic configuration of our software applications on-site or by remote access to Linux and Windows
• Coordinate with the customer and responsible stakeholders for the respective IT infrastructure (OS/Networking/Database) all the necessary steps to deliver installations
• Plan and perform software updates for our customers
• Handle 1st and 2nd level support issues using our ticketing system (incl. triage)
• Support our tests department in the verification of installations and updating procedures

Requirements:

• Successfully completed an apprenticeship as a computer scientist or an equivalent IT education, and several years of working experience
• You like resolving technical issues in complex life science lab devices, computers, and network environments
• You enjoy the responsibility of executing, managing, and coordinating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support tickets
• Strong people skills, being able to establish trust and develop long-term relationships with clients
• You feel at ease with administrative tasks on different OS (Linux, Windows)
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Switzerland. Please indicate your current work authorization status
• Preferably, you have experience in basic database administration (Oracle Database and/or PostgreSQL)
• Preferably, you have experience with software-to-software integration technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP, and similar connector frameworks for seamless system interoperability
• You are willing to embrace travel activities of up to 5% (North America, Europe)
• Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus; however, it is not a prerequisite
