Impact Advisors, LLC is a nationally recognized healthcare management consulting firm delivering Best in KLAS advisory, implementation, and optimization services. They are seeking a motivated Epic Ancillary Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Epic implementations and optimization initiatives, focusing on Ancillary applications. The role involves partnering with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and fostering communication across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Epic implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization, with a focus on Ancillary applications
- Managing small to medium-scale projects with moderate complexity, including project planning, scheduling, task coordination, issue tracking, and risk management
- Partnering with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to align project activities with organizational goals
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, timelines, status reports, and meeting materials
- Facilitating regular project meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through across teams
- Assisting with resource coordination and dependency management across Ancillary workstreams
- Identifying risks and issues early and escalating appropriately with recommended mitigation strategies
- Supporting client readiness activities, including workflow validation, testing coordination, training preparation, and go-live planning
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts by sharing lessons learned and best practices across projects
- Traveling, as necessary, to client sites to perform required tasks
- Interacting with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in both one-on-one and group settings
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience supporting Epic implementations or optimization initiatives, preferably with Ancillary modules (Radiant, Cupid, OpTime/Anesthesia, Willow, Beaker, Beacon, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience managing or coordinating healthcare IT projects, including timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
- Experience working with cross-functional clinical, operational, and technical teams
- Hands-on experience with Epic Systems and participation in at least one Epic implementation or major upgrade
- Epic certification in an Ancillary module is required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience supporting Epic implementations or healthcare IT projects
- Current or prior Epic certification required
- Proven ability to support Epic implementations, particularly within Ancillary domains
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify risks and solutions
- Experience preparing project plans, status reports, and executive-facing materials
