Next Orbits INC is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Manager – Control Tower to lead and operationalize enterprise-level governance, visibility, and performance management across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role functions as the central 'Control Tower' for business initiatives, ensuring structured oversight, risk transparency, milestone adherence, executive reporting, and cross-team alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the Control Tower governance framework across multiple enterprise initiatives
- Provide centralized oversight of concurrent business programs spanning operations, process improvement, tooling adoption, analytics enablement, training, and change management
- Standardize delivery governance including:
- Portfolio dashboards
- Plan / Do / Check / Act cadence
- RAID logs
- Milestone tracking
- Dependency mapping
- Escalation frameworks
- Deliver executive-level reporting summarizing initiative health, risks, financial impact, and business outcomes
- Ensure alignment across business leaders, operations teams, IT partners, PMs, and external vendors
- Monitor schedule performance (Oracle P6 / Procore environments), risk exposure, and cross-project dependencies
- Identify systemic delivery bottlenecks and implement corrective action frameworks
- Facilitate structured governance forums including steering committees, executive reviews, and cross-functional sync meetings
- Step into in-flight initiatives to establish structured reporting, visibility, and risk mitigation processes
- Translate portfolio-level data into clear business insights for senior leadership
- Coordinate closely with platform owners (Salesforce, ServiceNow, ClickUp, Oracle P6, Procore) without assuming technical ownership
Requirements:
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Enterprise governance & cross-functional coordination experience
- Control Tower / PMO / Portfolio oversight exposure
- 9+ years of progressive experience in project/program management within large enterprise environments
- Proven experience in PMO, Portfolio Management, or Control Tower environments
- Strong ability to lead through influence across cross-functional business units
- Experience implementing structured governance and delivery oversight frameworks
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to create standardized reporting and performance dashboards
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or capital project environments
- Portfolio or enterprise-level performance management exposure
- Experience flexing between project-level execution and enterprise-level oversight
- Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and traditional enterprise delivery models
- Exposure to enterprise transformation or operational excellence initiatives
