About this role
Wisewire is seeking a contract Production Lead to support multiple high-impact production initiatives. This role involves balancing high-level process oversight with detailed execution work, focusing on modernizing and strengthening production infrastructure for educational technology products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage production processes for online course builds in platforms such as Canvas and Articulate Storyline
- Design and improve scalable workflows for: Print production; Templating systems; and Process automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline and modernize production operations
- Manage and guide production assistants, as needed
- Utilize AI tools to create new workflows for efficiency and cost contamination while ensuring top level quality
- Execute back-end production tasks including: XML and HTML formatting; and Document structuring and markup
- Support online course builds and digital asset creation
- Collaborate with project managers and editors to meet production deadlines
- Ensure alignment with up-to-date accessibility standards
- Partner across remote teams to align production with project timelines
- Work closely with editorial and project management teams
- Contribute ideas for integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into workflows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in educational technology production or related field
- Experience building courses in LMS platforms (Canvas preferred)
- Familiarity with Articulate Storyline or similar authoring tools
- Working knowledge of: XML, HTML, LaTeX, Markdown
- Experience utilizing AI tools in daily and project tasks and workflows
- Strong understanding of current accessibility requirements (WCAG familiarity preferred)
- Curious and forward-thinking, especially regarding AI and automation
- Comfortable leading processes while remaining hands-on
- Highly collaborative in remote work environments
- Detail-oriented with strong production quality standards
- Systems thinker who enjoys process design and optimization
