The Lead Network Engineer will assess network health, design scalable hybrid network architectures, and collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assess network health and performance across multiple data centers including ATL, DAL, NJ, CAN, and Azure environments
- Identify and remediate resiliency, latency, and security gaps within enterprise network infrastructure
- Design robust, scalable future-state hybrid network architectures to support seamless integration between Azure and on-premises data centers
- Develop and implement comprehensive network remediation plans to address identified issues and optimize performance
- Create detailed network integration runbooks to guide operational teams through low-risk integration processes
- Configure, manage, and optimize network devices including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements and compliance standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues using advanced network monitoring tools and techniques
Requirements:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- Advanced proficiency in Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching
- Expertise in Avaya network solutions
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Prime for network management
- Experience with Meraki wireless solutions
- Proficiency in Brocade networking technologies
- Skilled in Cisco voice networking infrastructure
- In-depth understanding of load balancer configuration and management
- Experience with Juniper and Viptela SD-WAN solutions
- Advanced skills in network monitoring and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Azure Networking Certification
- Experience with Vlocity implementation
- Expertise in Argus network monitoring and implementation
- Strong background in Cisco SAN technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco wireless solutions
- Hands-on experience with Cisco firewall configuration and management
