They are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Business Application Analyst to manage and optimize healthcare information systems, ensuring data integrity and system security while enhancing user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems to identify opportunities for process improvement and problem resolution using data processing techniques
- Act as an application administrator by ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, and managing data extraction, analysis, and transformation activities
- Oversee software upgrades, system implementations, and data conversions to ensure seamless transitions and minimal operational disruptions
- Understand departmental workflows and processes to maintain and enhance system functionality in support of operational efficiency and user productivity
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced reports utilizing technologies such as SQL, QlikView, Infor Business Intelligence, and Kronos Genies to support decision-making
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, manage project timelines, and facilitate cross-functional team meetings to achieve project goals
- Provide operational and project support by understanding application build, design, and technical infrastructure requirements
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports, and assist in developing custom reports tailored to specific departmental needs
- Train staff on system functionalities, updates, and new applications, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and user adoption
- Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and end-users to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and optimize system performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant business experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in healthcare information systems
- At least 3 years of full lifecycle system implementations
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Familiarity with healthcare applications such as Kronos, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Human Capital Management systems
- Experience in finance, procurement, supply chain, or payroll processing
- Knowledge of the latest Kronos (UKG Workforce Management) version, including integration platforms like Boomi
- Consulting experience
- Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities
