The Pharmacy Benefit Management Business Architect/Data Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring software applications meet business needs and support the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for software development projects
- Work closely with stakeholders, end-users, project managers, and developers to ensure that software applications are designed to meet business needs
- Translate business objectives into technical solutions and support the software development lifecycle from inception to implementation
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements; evaluate and optimize business processes to align with software capabilities
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on business needs, design, and development throughout the project lifecycle
- Create and maintain BRDs, user stories, process flows, and training materials to support development and user adoption
- Support UAT, identify and resolve defects, and assist end-users during testing and go-live phases to ensure solution quality
- Assist with project planning, tracking, and change management by analyzing impacts, managing risks, and communicating updates effectively
- Coordinate business analyst team’s activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Exercise your analytical and relational database capability to quantify the anticipated solution approach and business impact
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, Documentation
- 3+ years in Pharmacy Systems and US PBM Domain knowledge with Medicaid experience as a plus
- Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC Methodologies
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior Analysts and Architects while working with cross-functional technical and non-technical partners
- Familiarity with Large Corporate Matrixed Environments with SSIS experience as a plus
