TeamOhana is a pre-Series A startup seeking a workforce planning subject matter expert with a finance or HR systems background to join the team as a pre-sales Solutions Engineer. The role involves leveraging expertise in FP&A and headcount forecasting to assist companies in solving workforce planning challenges while receiving training on sales and pre-sales best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Engineering: Partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to ensure we win the technical sale by aligning our platform to the customer’s requirements
- Customer Discovery: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to understand each customer’s headcount planning needs and pain points, and help the customer better understand their challenges and desired solutions
- Demos & Proof of Concept: Design and deliver compelling product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that tie to the customer’s priorities
- Technical Q&A and RFPs: Confidently address technical questions and objections, and craft clear, accurate responses to RFPs/RFIs
- Product Collaboration: Work with our Product team as the 'voice of the customer,' relaying feedback and influencing the product roadmap based on market needs. You’ll use your industry experience to help shape what we build next
- Go-to-Market Support: Support new product launches by creating talk tracks, demo narratives, and sales playbooks. Train the GTM team on new features and design engaging demo flows that highlight our latest innovations
Requirements:
- 3+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis, headcount forecasting, or HR systems (e.g. Workday HRIS)
- Excellent communicator with a consultative approach
- Passion for solving planning and budgeting problems
- Comfortable leading software demos, webinars, and workshops
- Thrive in a startup environment
- Ability to travel up to 20% for customer onsites and events
