GDT is a global IT services company that values innovation and employee growth. The Level 1 Engineer provides basic technical support, resolves customer issues, and ensures customer satisfaction through effective communication and performance goals.
Responsibilities:
- The Level 1 Engineer works to develop and share technical solutions with customers and team members
- Routinely interfaces with customer's technical and business team member's
- Guides customers in their decision making related to less complex situations with problem resolution or escalation to Level 2 Engineers
- Independently uses the appropriate documentation to produce clear, concise, high quality documentation outlining issue, risks, solutions, escalations and close of request
Requirements:
- Intermediate understanding in network design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional ability to listen and interpret
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to take direction
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Provide engineering support with required technologies
- Efficient task and incident management
- Serve as the Services and Technical SME for GDT Managed Services Clients
- Must have Knowledge in these Firewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco firepower and Fortinet
