OpenExchange, Inc. is a fast-paced high growth company looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their team remotely. The BDR will be responsible for generating viable leads for the Account Executives by initiating contact with potential clients and setting up meetings, while maintaining engagement with new and existing leads.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business through prospecting and activity-based calling and emailing
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase interest in Open Exchange products and service offerings
- Keep prospect account records up to date in database (Salesforce) and for logging all activity and information on prospects
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
- Utilize all sales technologies and specified alerts for designated Target Accounts daily
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience as a Business Development Representative
- Motivation, creativity, drive and a consistent self-starting attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo and/or LinkedIn Navigator is a significant plus
