Youreka is a leading Salesforce ISV partner focused on transforming field service through innovative mobile applications. The Application Engineer will design, develop, and deploy high-quality web and mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and maintain application security and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality web and mobile applications focused on performance, reliability, and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver product features end to end
- Work across the full stack, contributing to both client-facing features and the scalable backend systems that support them
- Implement secure coding practices and help ensure the application meets modern security and privacy standards
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
- Contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React or similar for web and mobile development
- Experience building cross-platform mobile apps with Capacitor or React Native
- Strong adoption and demonstrated experience using AI-assisted coding and automation tools
- Curiosity about emerging AI technologies that enhance developer efficiency
- Understanding of AWS services and best practices for building, deploying, and maintaining applications in the cloud
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern integration patterns
- Knowledge of web and mobile security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data storage
- Experience with modern development practices such as Git, CI/CD, agile methodologies, automated testing, and performance optimization
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Salesforce platform experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce API integrations
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM for serverless and containerized application development
