As a Work from Home TurboTax Product Expert, you will assist customers with tax-related questions and software usage, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities:
- Providing prompt and professional assistance to customers via phone, chat, or email regarding TurboTax products and tax software
- Guiding users through downloading, logging in, and basic navigation of the TurboTax platform
- Supporting customers in importing documents, printing, and filing their tax returns accurately
- Addressing common tax questions and troubleshooting technical issues related to the software
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering empathetic and effective solutions
- Participating in certification training to enhance your product knowledge and service skills
- Adhering to company policies and performance metrics to achieve weekly bonus opportunities and performance bonuses
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience
Requirements:
- No specific accounting background is required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate solutions and empathize with customers
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective, friendly assistance
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with reliable internet connectivity
- Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as desired
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with navigating online platforms
- Ability to work within scheduled hours between 8am EST and 12am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday
