eTeam is seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCVE Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to join their Google Cloud Infrastructure team. This role is critical in designing, deploying, and managing Client workloads on Google Cloud using Infrastructure as Code principles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Google Cloud Client Engine (GCVE) environments for enterprise workloads
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate GCVE provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to define infrastructure requirements and translate them into Terraform code
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in cloud deployments
- Monitor and optimize GCVE performance, cost, and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCVE and Terraform deployments
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Client Engine (GCVE)
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Strong understanding of Client vSphere, NSX-T, and HCX
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with GCP services such as VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
