The Business Development Analyst is responsible for driving growth initiatives and supporting strategic projects, focusing on Salesforce programming and implementation to support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the SalesForce System
- The Business Development Analyst supports the analysis, documentation, and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions within a collaborative delivery environment
- This role works under the guidance of the Business Development team and assists in translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories
- The Business Development Analyst develops foundational experience in Salesforce functionality and stakeholder collaboration while contributing to the successful delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements during discovery and refinement activities
- Support the translation of business needs into functional requirements, epics, and user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Assist in mapping business processes and documenting current and future workflows
- Support documentation of requirements in user stories and related artifacts
- Support backlog refinement by updating user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation as needed
- Assist with testing activities including system testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Help document test cases, track defects, and support validation of fixes
- Support the creation of project deliverables including user guides, quick reference materials, training aids, and test documentation
- Assist with end-user training sessions and stakeholder walkthroughs
- Create basic wireframes, process diagrams, and visual flows under guidance
- Support the Business Development Function
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to support sales and marketing teams
- Write clear and concise reports to communicate data insights and support business objectives
- Lead and support Business Development initiatives and implementation projects, ensuring smooth integration of customer solutions
- Participate in the end-to-end bid management process, including document preparation and technical input
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met in all business development and bid submissions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum work experience: 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with end-to-end Salesforce implementation experience
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce programming and report customization
- Proven ability to write clear, structured reports for various audiences
- Strong MS Excel skills – formulas and visual graphics
- Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong computer, verbal, and written skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
- Strong organizational skills (team orientation, flexible, adaptable)
- Assertive with the ability to work well in a fast-changing environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with P&L exposure preferred
- Understanding of financial information including budgeting and job costing preferred
