About this role
Versaterm is a global public safety solutions company helping agencies transform how they serve their communities. The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by delivering technical expertise and solution design throughout the sales cycle, focusing on product demonstrations and solution alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and design tailored SaaS solutions that meet operational and compliance needs
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to technical and business stakeholders
- Support proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, ensuring successful configuration and validation
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop winning strategies for complex deals
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and persuasive technical content
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, articulating product capabilities and business value
- Work with Product Management to provide feedback on feature gaps and roadmap priorities
- Partner with Marketing to create technical collateral and case studies
- Ensure alignment with Legal and Compliance for regulatory requirements in public safety
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in public safety
- Maintain deep knowledge of product capabilities and integration options
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles
- Strong technical background in SaaS, cloud solutions, or enterprise software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to engage C-level and technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy
- Successful completion of a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check
- Obtaining and maintaining all required security clearances is a condition of employment
- Experience working with public safety agencies or government entities
