Product Manager II - Cash Balances

Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world, and they are seeking a Product Manager II for their Cash & Deposits team. The role focuses on improving customer cash experience by managing product development for cash and USDC products, collaborating across teams, and launching new offerings to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own product development for our Cash and USDC products on the main Coinbase app - improving our existing offerings, and expanding into new ones
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations to develop and execute against the product roadmap
• Launching zero to one new products for Coinbase users across existing and new Cash domains
• Define and analyze metrics to guide product development and ensure we are building a best-in-class user experience
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision for our entire brokerage platform
• Clearly communicate plans, progress, benefits, and functionality internally to partners and executive leadership, and externally to our customers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in regulated brokerage and FinTech
• Deep expertise in Fintech Banking, DeFi Banking and/or Cash management products
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
• Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and evidence of the ability to guide product strategy and create alignment with senior cross-functional partners
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to building a robust platform with reliability, scale, and risk mitigation at its core
• Ability to bridge complex technical and regulatory requirements with simple, intuitive user-facing products
• Demonstrated passion for retail investing, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality
• Bridge both fintech and defi expertise to build uniquely compelling crypto-powered cash offerings
