Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the value of UPS’s products and services tailored to client needs
- Understand clients’ specific logistics and supply chain requirements and customize solutions accordingly
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless client experiences and service delivery
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management to facilitate ongoing business development efforts
Requirements:
- Proven success in B2B sales, particularly in new business acquisition
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, or related industries, with the ability to effectively articulate the company's value proposition
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
