Somewhere is seeking a seasoned Sales Development Representative to join their remote sales team. The role involves generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and collaborating with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Generation: Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns via cold calling, email, social selling (LinkedIn), and video outreach to generate new business opportunities
- Lead Qualification: Respond to and qualify inbound leads rapidly, ensuring they meet our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) before handing them off to the closing team
- Strategic Mapping: Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers and understand their pain points/business needs
- Tech Stack Mastery: Maintain meticulous hygiene in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot) and utilize sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to organize your workflow
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to strategize on account penetration and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
- Performance: Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas for activity (calls/emails) and qualified meetings booked (SQLs)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct B2B sales development experience (SDR/BDR role). Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered
- Must be willing and able to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours, regardless of your physical location
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment with a dedicated workspace and stable internet connection
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you know how to write emails that get opened and handle objections on the phone with poise
- Proficiency with modern sales tools (CRM, Sales Engagement Platforms, Data tools)
