Product Owner Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare Applications - Remote

UnitedHealthcare is dedicated to simplifying the health care experience and creating healthier communities. The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner will work closely with the C&S Medicaid Care Management leadership to identify functional requirements and ensure that documented requirements are met within an Agile work stream for the clinical application.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care Management Projects and acts as a Subject Matter Expert
• Understands and can discuss the Care Management application and implications of changes to clinical process, policies and procedures
• Healthcare software application configuration
• Assess, interpret, and analyze customer needs and requirements
• Writing and documenting business requirements in Epics/Features and User Stories

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner facilitating and documenting requirements (such as process flows, use cases, and/or business requirement documents) gathered from both business and technology counterparts
• 5+ years of problem-solving experience, including prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
• 3+ years healthcare work experience with Medicaid populations and Medicaid Care Management
• 2+ years of experience working with all phases of Agile, including Epic and User Story development
• 1+ years of experience in Technical writing (training materials and/or User story)
• 1+ years of experience mentoring and/or developing staff
• Experience gathering business requirements from business leadership
• Undergraduate degree in IT
• 1+ year Testing (UAT) experience
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with GuidingCare
• Experience with use and configuration of healthcare software applications (preferably clinical software)
• Experience as a Solutions Analyst
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively (Healthcare/Medicaid)
• Proven ability to work in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills are required - must be able to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear concise fashion to clients, colleagues and senior business leaders
