The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner will work closely with the C&S Medicaid Care Management leadership to identify functional requirements and ensure that documented requirements are met within an Agile work stream for the clinical application.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care Management Projects and acts as a Subject Matter Expert
- Understands and can discuss the Care Management application and implications of changes to clinical process, policies and procedures
- Healthcare software application configuration
- Assess, interpret, and analyze customer needs and requirements
- Writing and documenting business requirements in Epics/Features and User Stories
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner facilitating and documenting requirements (such as process flows, use cases, and/or business requirement documents) gathered from both business and technology counterparts
- 5+ years of problem-solving experience, including prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
- 3+ years healthcare work experience with Medicaid populations and Medicaid Care Management
- 2+ years of experience working with all phases of Agile, including Epic and User Story development
- 1+ years of experience in Technical writing (training materials and/or User story)
- 1+ years of experience mentoring and/or developing staff
- Experience gathering business requirements from business leadership
- Undergraduate degree in IT
- 1+ year Testing (UAT) experience
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with GuidingCare
- Experience with use and configuration of healthcare software applications (preferably clinical software)
- Experience as a Solutions Analyst
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively (Healthcare/Medicaid)
- Proven ability to work in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills are required - must be able to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear concise fashion to clients, colleagues and senior business leaders
