CDW is partnering with a healthcare client for a Project Manager/Business Analyst role focused on migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across a large number of devices. The role involves managing the migration project, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the smooth transition of technology within the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Managed multiple OS migration initiatives, including the full lifecycle of the Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade project
- Assessed the existing environment to determine migration scope, including locations, workstation counts, and peripheral inventory (laptops, printers, etc.)
- Met with department leadership and key stakeholders to understand priorities, timelines, dependencies, and potential roadblocks
- Collaborated with IT teams to conduct hardware compatibility assessments (BIOS, CPU, RAM, storage, printer drivers)
- Partnered with IT and departmental SMEs to evaluate software and application compatibility for Windows 11
- Coordinated with network teams to confirm data protection strategies, including OneDrive and network drive backups
- Reviewed and analyzed current OS deployment methods (in-place upgrade, profile migration, wipe-and-reload, new hardware deployment) to determine the optimal approach
- Developed project timelines, success criteria, and migration readiness requirements
- Partnered with departments to select pilot groups, deploy Windows 11, gather feedback, and resolve any issues prior to full rollout
- Collaborated with management to ensure timely and clear communication throughout the project

Requirements:

- Extensive experience directing helpdesk teams, network analysts, and enterprise support functions for global environments
- Skilled in analyzing complex technical requirements, modeling costs, and supporting lifecycle planning for large-scale initiatives such as Windows 10/11 deployments
- Strong expertise in evaluating device inventories, determining optimal deployment strategies, and partnering with supply chain and procurement teams to support equipment ordering, budgeting, and asset-management planning
- Adept at assessing user personas, understanding application dependencies, and aligning migration plans with clinical, business, and specialty-specific workflows
- Known for developing best practices, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering structured, data-driven recommendations that ensure smooth and efficient technology transitions across the organization
