AI Product Engineer

Elios Talent is partnering with a fast-scaling, product-led technology organization in the ecommerce sector. They are seeking an AI Product Engineer to design, build, and iterate on AI-driven product features that enhance customer engagement and drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and iterate on AI-driven product features end-to-end
• Sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI — turning ideas into live, scalable systems
• Build AI-powered product features embedded directly into the customer journey
• Create LLM-based workflows and intelligent automation systems
• Develop AI agents that drive personalization and operational efficiency
• Implement full-stack features across React, Node, and AWS infrastructure
• Establish experimentation frameworks to optimize conversion and engagement
• Create data-driven feedback loops to continuously improve AI outputs

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software engineering with strong product exposure
• Experience building in ecommerce or similar transaction-based environments
• Expert-level TypeScript proficiency
• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Backend experience in Node.js
• Experience deploying and scaling systems in AWS
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, AI agents)
• Experience shipping AI features into production
• Experience optimizing conversion funnels through experimentation
• Exposure to ML evaluation frameworks
• Startup or high-growth company experience
