Business Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst within the Business Data Strategy & Business Technology team, you will transform complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards and facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders, project managers, and product owners to gather, clarify, and prioritize complex requirements across multiple workstreams, ensuring completeness and clarity
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications that guide engineering and vendor teams in data transformation and analytics projects
• Document dependencies, data flows, processes, and integration points to maintain transparency and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to validate the feasibility of solutions and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, governance, and compliance standards
• Drive structured prioritization of requirements and act as a trusted consultant during the design and build phases to mitigate risks and promote high-quality outcomes
• Maintain disciplined documentation practices, including recording decisions, changes, and project updates to support transparency and knowledge sharing
• Support the development and implementation of data governance principles, including metadata management, data quality, and compliance standards
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
• At least 3 years of experience translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams
