AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust is dedicated to serving military families by providing financial guidance tailored to their unique needs. The Business Development Executive will focus on lead generation and initial conversations, helping military members and veterans navigate their financial options before connecting them to the Relationship Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation, first conversations, and qualification of potential clients
- Engage and educate military families and veterans about financial options
- Conduct first-meeting intakes to understand clients' situations and priorities
- Introduce clients to the Relationship Management team for further assistance
Requirements:
- You have a strong sales foundation, particularly in B2C environments
- You know how to guide people through important decisions without pressure or theatrics
- You're comfortable owning your day, managing your pipeline, and staying consistent without being micromanaged
- You bring financial acumen to the table—enough to ask smart questions, understand nuance, and position a custom solution based on what someone actually needs
- You're entrepreneurial by nature
- You work your network
- You show up at events
- You follow up
- You take ownership
- When you say you'll do something, it gets done
- You come from the military community and, as a veteran and/or military spouse, you understand the culture, the transitions, the language, and the trust required to serve this population well
- Bonus points if you've sold B2B and built relationships with military foundations, veteran organizations, or service-related institutions
- Familiarity with Salesforce doesn't hurt either
