Data Project / Program Manager + Life Science Domain Experience /Pharma Experience - Data Platform {{REMOTE}}

SPAR Information Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic data platform initiatives within the Life Science or Pharma domain. The role involves driving cross-functional programs focused on building a unified data platform, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance, and managing multiple project managers across various workstreams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platform programs, from strategy through execution and operationalization
• Partner with data engineering, architecture, analytics IT, security, and business stakeholders to define scope, roadmap, milestones, and success metrics
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage interdependencies across multiple projects and teams
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
• Facilitate executive steering committee and provide clear, concise program updates for some projects, while others will have their own project managers
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (especially relevant to biosciences environments)
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and change controls
• Track KPIs and program performance metrics to ensure value realization
• Support vendor selection and management where applicable
• Champion best practices in program management. Agile/SAFe, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Manage multiple project managers assisting on the different workstreams

Requirements:

• Life Science Domain or Pharma Domain REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in program or project management
• Demonstrated experience leading data platform, data engineering, data transformation initiatives
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
• Experience in the biosciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
• Familiarity with GxP, data integrity, and regulatory compliance requirements
• PMP, P&MP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar certification
• Experience with modern data platforms
• Experience supporting AL/ML or advanced analytics initiatives
• Strong understanding of data architecture concepts (data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure GCP)
• Experience working in regulated environments preferred
