MaxVal Group, Inc. delivers AI-enabled IP management software and services for innovative companies and law firms. They are seeking Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive outbound prospecting and generate pipeline across corporate and law firm segments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive outbound prospecting through a structured, multi-touch approach: phone, personalized email, LinkedIn, video outreach, and in-person engagement at industry events
- Generate qualified meetings and pipeline for assigned Regional Sales Managers through proactive outreach and account research
- Prioritize outbound engagement while qualifying inbound marketing leads
- Develop account-based prospecting strategies with Sales and Marketing to penetrate high-value corporate and law firm targets
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects using tailored messaging aligned to IP and legal workflows
- Support pre- and post-event outreach for conferences and trade shows
- Maintain CRM accuracy, track activity, and measure campaign effectiveness
- Learn MaxVal’s SaaS and professional service offerings and confidently articulate value propositions
- Manage smaller transactional opportunities end-to-end once ramped
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and qualified-meeting targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of outbound sales development, BDR/SDR, or inside sales experience (LegalTech, IP, SaaS, or professional services preferred)
- Proven success in generating a pipeline through cold outreach and multi-channel prospecting
- Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing on messaging and targeting
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms and CRM systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage attorneys, IP leaders, and legal operations professionals
- Hunter mentality with persistence and creativity in outbound prospecting
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to personalize outreach and build rapport across channels
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Coachable, collaborative, and motivated to grow into a closing role
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Experience in LegalTech, IP, SaaS, or professional services
