Job Description
The Project Manager II leads multiple medium-to-large cross-functional projects designed to drive operational excellence in our stores through strategic initiatives. This role oversees project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and communications while applying data-driven decision making to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead concurrent cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; adjust proactively to maintain delivery.
- Identify, monitor, and resolve risks and issues; escalate appropriately when necessary.
- Facilitate effective meetings and provide timely, clear updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Coordinate alignment across business, field, and technical teams to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Ensure operational readiness, documentation, and successful transition to long-term support teams.
- Maintain project governance including decision logs and value-realization tracking.
- Analyze data to drive decision-making and guide corrective action where needed.
- Execute strategic projects aimed at improving store operations and operational excellence.
- Travel to store locations up to 20% during the first year to support project execution and field alignment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years+ of project management experience.
- Strong communication, organization, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable steps.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
- Experience in technology, operations, or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Tableau proficiency recommended (dashboard creation, data visualization, trend analysis).
