As a Patient Recruitment Specialist, you’ll help connect eligible participants with cutting edge clinical trials focused on conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and hidradenitis suppurativa. What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for dermatology clinical trials.
• Conduct outreach via phone, email, EMR searches, social media, community partners, and patient databases.
• Pre screen participants and guide them through the recruitment pipeline with strong follow up.
• Create and support IRB approved recruitment materials (flyers, digital ads, community outreach).
• Track recruitment metrics and sources using CTMS/REDCap/Excel.
• Collaborate with dermatology providers, study coordinators, and sponsors to refine recruitment efforts.
• Provide a compassionate, positive experience for potential participants.
• Support the Director of Clinical Research with administrative tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, or healthcare outreach.
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or communications related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with ICH GCP, HIPAA, EMRs, and patient database searching.
• Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking with diverse patient populations.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple studies at once.
• Tech savvy: proficient with computers, typing, and CTMS platforms (CRIO, RealTime, Clinical Conductor, Florence).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
Work Environment
• Hybrid with some on site needs.
• Fast paced clinical research setting with frequent communication across teams.
• Occasional weekend and Travel required.
