
The assistant supervisor is responsible to develop, maintain, and improve service to its customers. The assistant supervisor will assist in the recruitment, selection, guidance, development, and performance management of staff that will provide this service. The incumbent must gain self-improvement, develop continuous improvement, work through and create change. The assistant supervisor helps provide leadership and direction for the Lab and performs problem solving of immediate operational issues. Works with the supervisor to identify and analyze problems and implement changes to improve the work unit’s effectiveness. Assumes supervisory responsibility in the absence of supervisor. Participates in representing the department at organizational meetings.

Five (5) years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Lab Technician. Proven leadership abilities.
Licensure or Certification:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification required.
Radiology Technologist: RT(R) with additional certification CV, CI, RCIS, or RCES required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
