KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Management
- Maintain general ledgers and record all financial transactions
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts
- Maintain organized and confidential financial records
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor payments and reimbursements
- Manage bill payments and electronic transfers
- Track receivables and intercompany balances
Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll
- Familiarity with tax filings - prepare & remit payroll deductions to CRA (T1’s and T2’s)
- Assist with HST filings and year-end reporting
Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes
- Provide financial information to external accountants and advisors
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Fluent with QuickBooks (desktop and online version)
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and CRA regulations
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (PDF tools) is required, including the ability to create, edit, format, and manage professional PDF documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- High level of integrity and discretion

The expected compensation range for this position is $63,440 - $87, 230. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
