The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven Administrative Assistant to join our Business Office. This is a pivotal role for someone who takes pride in being the operational heartbeat of the office, the person who ensures things run smoothly, professionally, and efficiently every single day.
Reporting to the Director, Club Governance & Executive Assistant to the CEO, this position provides critical administrative, operational, and front-facing support across the organization. You will serve as a key Brand Ambassador, creating positive experiences for internal and external stakeholders alike.
What You’ll Do
This role touches many areas of the organization. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Front-Facing & Office Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for public and stakeholder inquiries — in person and by phone — ensuring every interaction reflects Rider pride and professionalism.
- Manage incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and provide timely follow-up.
- Oversee office supply inventory, purchasing, and distribution — identifying efficiencies where possible.
- Take pride in workspaces by maintaining oversight and responsibility for keeping the boardrooms and kitchen well- stocked and organized.
- Manage mail, courier services, shipping/receiving, and package distribution.
- Ensure office safety procedures and supplies are maintained and compliant.
Administrative & Executive Support
- Provide administrative support across Business Office departments.
- Support boardroom and meeting coordination, including scheduling, preparation, and materials.
- Assist with travel arrangements and meeting logistics for senior leadership.
- Prepare memos, correspondence, and documentation.
- Maintain organized contact lists and records.
- Coordinate closely with the Director, Club Governance & EA to the CEO on meetings, initiatives, and projects.
- Serve as back-up support on projects, events, and meetings when required.
Culture & Events
- Model and reinforce Club values through professional, positive behaviours.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Rider programs, initiatives, staff events, and game day operations as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you bring:
- Completion of an Office or Business Administration diploma (or equivalent experience preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in an office environment performing administrative duties. Please note, this is an entry level role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, office technology, printers, and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

This role also requires flexibility, including the ability to work irregular business hours for events and availability to work all home game days.
