Project Manager

• Work alongside with Director and across all project areas to deliver vehicle program to Quality, Cost and Timing goals with particular attention to activities schedule timing
• Manage, supervise and provide technical direction for planning/ scheduling activities on each department involved in car launch
• Plan leadership of assigned Vehicle Engineering project
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance
• Plan, direct, and control activities for design, development, and release of specific products within established program objectives
• Distribute and adjust workload and parallel activities to optimize program schedules. Provide staff with  the necessary resources,  tools and training to effectively and efficiently execute required tasks.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks
• Escalate and manage program risks and issues
• Maximize team performance using standard processes
• Lead technical reviews if necessary
• Prepare written reports and make presentations
• Coordinate and resolve program conflicts. Drive countermeasures for all significant issues in the program
• ​ Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions

Requirements

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level operational experience in the use of MS Project
• Ability to assess cross functional risks quickly and direct program validation activities
• Competent in English, both written and verbal
• Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
• Experience serving as a Technical Leader, Team Lead, or Sub-Project Manager in project environments is an advantage
