Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
At least one internship or equivalent work experience in a logistics or other appropriate supply chain role
Job Summary:
To plan and maintain daily operations in one or more logistics functions (such as transportation and warehousing) Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop planning system strategies to improve signals to the supply chain Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system. Use common processes tools, and information systems. Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans. Execute the daily operational logistics processes Identify potential supply chain failures and mitigate associated risks Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements. Experience : 1. 5-8 years (Global Logistics / Warehousing / Material Planning )
2. Worked with Fright Forwarding organization (Nice to have)
3. Engineering Degree (Nice to have)
Skills Functional : 1. Logistics coordination with multiple freight forwarder for Import / Export material flow ( Must have)
2. Knowledge of warehouse Operation / Cycle Count / Perpetual inventory ( Must have)
3. Knowledge of Receipts and Invoicing ( Preferred)
4. System use (Oracle /SAP ) ( Nice to have)
5. Coordination for UK / US route shipment movement ( Nice to Have)
6. Knowledge of route mapping , Leadtime , Can Resolve transit Issues.
7. Expert in Managing Transit Details Mapping
